Hello! My name is Latoria, and I’d like to share a bit about my journey to veganism and why I decided to stop eating meat. It’s been a transformative and eye-opening experience, and it’s something I’m incredibly passionate about.

For most of my life, I followed a typical diet that included meat and animal products.

My journey towards veganism started in 2017 and wasn’t an overnight decision-it was a gradual process of learning, reflection, and growth. One of the key factors that inspired me to go vegan was my growing awareness of animal welfare issues. I began to understand the ethical implications of supporting industries that exploit animals for food, clothing, and other purposes. I learned about the conditions in factory farms, the cruelty involved in animal slaughter, and the environmental toll of animal agriculture. The more I learned, the more I felt compelled to make a change.

Another major influence was my health, I started to notice that when I made healthier, plant based choices, I felt more energized and my body seemed to thrive. I realized that a plant based diet can provide all the nutrients I need without the negative side effects associated with consuming animal products. This shift made me feel better physically and mentally.

Going vegan has not only been a positive choice for my health, but it has also brought me a sense of peace and purpose. I feel proud knowing that my actions align with my values, and the every meal I enjoy reflects my commitment to kindness, sustainability, and compassion.
